Reflection and Documentation Guidelines

20% Total : 4 Reflections 5% each
Follow Due Dates for posting
You will create 4 Reflections that will be posted on page or blog on your personal website that will be linked to the class website
They Include:
  1.     1.Greenacres Field Experience Reflection
  2.     2.Interview with an Innovator—see Handout for details
  3.     3.Ideal Bee Project Documentation and Reflection
  4.     4.Final Project Documentation, Reflection, and Research Fair Abstract

Your reflection should present your learning from each experience in a format that is adaptable to be posted on your personal website.  You may express your reflection through language (text: approximately 450-600 words).  You may also express your experience through poetry, music, visual essay, painting, drawing, animation, video. A visual or creative reflection must be accompanied by some descriptive text if that is not already incorporated into the body of the work.
DOCUMENTATION

of the Ideal Bee and Final Project should include:
  • In progress and final produce images
  • Explanatory text
  • Any poster or power point slide images/text
  • Reflection on the process
  • Personal learning from the project
GRADING RUBRIC
Your Reflection will be graded on the following criteria:

  • Creative Innovative Expression
  • Identification of key learnings
  • Connections to class readings and other research clearly articulated
  • Questions or directions of inquiry (what do you wonder about?)
  • Guidelines for word count (450-600 words) met
  • Guidelines for images and photos met
  • Evidence of rigorous thinking
  • Evidence of careful craftsmanship
  • Citation of all references  and images using APA style
  • Posted to person website, published, by due date
